On 9 October 2026, at the University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC), the project team presented the final design proposal for a green space on the university campus and conducted a survey to gather participants’ feedback on the co-creation process.

The design received positive feedback for its potential to make use of underutilized spaces, introduce more greenery and shade trees, and provide seating areas for resting, studying, and outdoor discussions. One participant appreciated the open green space and its connection with nature, noting that the tiered red-brick seating added a simple, rustic character that suited Hue’s landscape and cultural identity.

Through the survey, participants also shared memorable experiences from the co-creation process. Their feedback highlighted the open discussion environment, respect for different perspectives, and opportunities to exchange ideas directly with experts. One participant noted that the process had “changed their way of thinking and provided them with more diverse perspectives.” Others shared that they had gained a better understanding of Nature-based Solutions (NbS), community needs, and their own roles in improving the campus environment.

These reflections not only helped evaluate the final design proposal but also reaffirmed the importance of listening to the community, sharing knowledge, and developing Nature-based Solutions that are appropriate to the local context.

The event marked the completion of the co-creation process and the transition to the implementation and construction phase. The design was co-created through collaboration among the project team, students, and the university. The university will proactively allocate the necessary funding, human resources, and materials to implement the design agreed upon by the university and the project team, turning the co-created ideas into reality and contributing to a greener campus and an improved learning environment at HUSC.
