The GreenCityLabHue project presents a tool for the systematic exploration of entry points to local governance of nature-based solutions against the backdrop of Hue City

The governance of green-blue infrastructure (GBI) as a form of nature-based solutions (NbS) requires the consideration of many different aspects, which we also refer to as entry points. These include, e.g., socio-environmental challenges, that should be addressed by ecosystem services and thus the benefits provided by NbS, and in so-doing, also meeting demands and preferences of citizens. This is particularly important to achieve locally adapted and broadly accepted solutions.

To systematically visualize and explore these complex relationships, the GreenCityLabHue project developed a mind map as a tool for NbS discussion and capacity building regarding NbS governance and decision-making. The mind map connects various entry points, building on the state-of-the-art and project findings, and highlights how NbS may help to address socio-environmental challenges and meet citizen demands.
